Festival will be held on the banks of the Muskingum River on August 23th with a craft show, flea market, 5K race, cruise-in, fishing tournament, kids games, melon derby race, melon growing contest, archery exhibit/lessons, tractor pull, beer garden, food, and entertainment including live country and classic rock bands. Adm: $1; Free public parking; Free vendor parking. Sponsored by Dresden Melon Festival Committee. Hours: 9:00 am to 10:30 pm
