If you enjoyed the 2013 Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration at The Preble County Historical Center, you have another chance to run away to the Circus with the Preble County Historical Society on Sunday July 6, 2014, at our Old-Fashioned Independence Day Celebration! Just help us fund the Cincinnati Circus and you, too, can swing on the amazing flying trapeze or learn to juggle or request your own balloon designs from stilt walking balloon artists, learn magic tricks from strolling magicians, or bounce in the bounce house and play through the large lawn obstacle courses!

And that's all in addition to exploring our petting zoo, nature center animals, hiking trails, restored wetland, historic buildings, and enjoying homemade ice cream and delicious food in the Carriage House Cafe. Plus there will be music in The Amphitheater all afternoon and evening and FIREWORKS at dusk! This amazing announcement is being made by the Preble County Historical Society in conjunction with Dayton-based CultureWorks. CultureWorks is the regional administrator for the Power2Give program developed in Charlotte, North Carolina. Power2Give uses crowd source funding based in social media to assist non-profit organizations in the cultural and arts arena in raising funds for specific events and programs.
