Description: | From Early America LIVE Website: An 1890 reenactment festival at 147 East Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio. (Ashtabula County) Saturday, July 12th, 10am - 5pm, & Sunday, July 13th, Noon-5pm --1890 becomes "ALIVE" as you enter the gates into the historic 19th century Jefferson Depot Village.
Costumed kinfolk recreate the "period" as you peek into the past in the school, tavern, general store, pharmacy, Victorian house, post office, railroad station, church. "Dixieland Band" performance 2:00 PM Sunday in the "1865 Lenox Cornet Bandwagon and Village Bandstand." Fashion show Saturday in the 1848 Church.
Early skills - Candle-making, Dying & Spinning wool, Alpaca, Pottery, Art, Basketry, Tussie-Mussies, Hat Show, Make and Take crafts, Bandstand Entertainment, games, and a 1890 Food Menu.
The Pastor arrives on horseback Saturday at 11 am. 1890 school class, recess, pump-organ concert, storytelling, herb garden tours, contests. (FUN FOR ALL)
