The 2nd annual Epic-Con Ohio: Geekfest will take place October 24-26, 2014 at the historic Montgomery County Fairgrounds. For three days, fans of pop culture will have a jaw-dropping experience that aims to bring excitement and energy to the Dayton area. This year Epic-Con has partnered with Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation to raise funds and awareness for this rare lung disorder. $5 from every ticket will go towards the foundation.

The convention will run Friday, October 24 from 5pm-10pm, Saturday, October 25 from 11:00 a .m. 9:00 p.m. with after party (featuring Rockstar DJ Tre) from 10:00 p.m. -1:00 a.m., and Sunday October 26 from 11:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. Attendees will enjoy celebrity panels, custom car show, cosplay/costume contest, live music, pro wrestling with the stars of Rockstar Pro Wrestling, and many more exciting events including an exclusive never before seen pre-release screening of Clive Barker's Nightbreed: Director's Cut!

If you want to be considered for a chance to be in the first annual Nerd Off send us a 60 sec video showing us why you should be a contestant! We are looking for Individuals and Groups. Be fun, be creative, be Geeky, be YOU! To enter just make a video and post the link on Epic-Con Ohio: Geek Fest Facebook page. Send a short synopsis of what your video is about, your name, age, and if under the age of 18 we need a parents signature for you to participate. Anyone age 8 and up are welcome to apply! Good Luck and get your videos in! Submissions end September 25th!
