Description:

From Williams County Fair Website:

If fun, great food, first-class entertainment, and best-ever exhibits are what you are looking for, then come visit the Williams County Fair. One of the largest fairs in the the tri-state region, the Williams County Fair takes place each year during the second week in September, starting on the Saturday after Labor Day.

With a history rich in agriculture, the county is home to many 4-H and Jr. Fair participants. The Jr. Fair Sale on the last Saturday of the fair brings many dollars to the youth who have worked endlessly during the year to make that day happen. The Williams County Fair is host to a large variety of livestock, including rabbits, sheep, chickens, pigs, cows, turkeys, horses and more.

Animals are only a small part of what the Fair has to offer. Every year we feature crowd pleasing shows with headliner entertainers. Other events are the popular Demolition Derby, Pari-mutuel Harness Racing, Horse Pull, and Youth night featuring Calf Catch Drawing, Pullet Pursuit, Pig Olympics, Bunny Hop and Mutton Buckin'. A new feature added to the fair is the Dirt Drags. There is also a large assortment of exhibits, merchant displays, and rides and games for all ages. With the best selection of food, we have something for everyone.

The fair is not the only event that the Williams County Fairgrounds is host to. We also sponsor the Antique Tractor and Rib Fest held the last weekend in July. Events during this include a pancake and sausage breakfast, an auction , kids' activities, a parade, antique tractor pulls and much more.

Other events held on the fairgrounds are Dog shows, Gun Shows, and many others.

Come, see what we are all about! You won't go home disappointed.
