Celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of the founding of Put-in-Bay by Hispanic merchant Jose DeRivera St. Jurgo. Kids games from noon to 3 pm, sandwiches, hot dogs, strawberry shortcake, festival vendors, great bargains, live music and lots of fun in the tent and outside in DeRivera Park downtown, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Put-in-Bays EMTs bring the miniature Lifeflight helicopter for the kids to ride, and hand out safety information. A variety of free kids games with prizes for everyone. Put-in-Bays Volunteer Fire Department sells brats and hot dogs, St. Pauls Episcopal Church sells strawberry shortcake, and our island renowned Hog Roasters dish out their roast beef sandwiches and sides for those who are hungry.

Find a book to read at the Old Womens Literary Society table, a vintage Put-in-Bay souvenir, handcrafted items, tee-shirts, jewelry and more at the sale tables. Pick up information on activities sponsored by local organizations, including the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society, the Lake Erie Islands Chapter of the Black Swamp Conservancy, the Perry Group (Friends of Perrys Victory), the Put-in-Bay Arts Council, and the Put-in-Bay Garden Club.
