30th Annual Strawberry Festival - Craft Bazaar features Delicious Strawberry Shortcake, Hand-crafted treasurers (craft show) nestled amidst historic 19th century restored buildings, Quilt & Doll Show in the 1848 Church in the Wildwood. Live entertainment on the village bandstand, Free Kid's Corner Games and Prizes, Food, Free parking on East Walnut St. Guided 1890 Tours in period attire of over a dozen 19th century depot village buildings is optional. Visit the 1872 Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railroad Station, on the National Register of Historic Places, the 1860 Ashtabula Pharmacy with its medicinal herb garden, the 1838 Spafford One-Room Schoolhouse with separate doors and outhouses for boys and girls. Hohn's Century General Store is filled with original furnishings and goods. The 1888 Victorian House and culinary gardens are across from the 1845 Sheffield Post Office and the 1816 Jonathan Warner Tavern. Climb aboard the 1918 Pennsylvania N-5 Caboose. See the Benetka Blacksmith Shop, the 1870 Carriage House and 1865 Horse-drawn Lenox Cornet Bandwagon. The 1860 Library/Welcome Center is being restored by volunteers with donations to Jefferson Depot, Inc., a non-profit 50l(c)(3) charitable organization. The depot is on its original site. The other buildings are all from Ashtabula County and have been moved here to save and restore.
