The Taste of Lakewood is an outdoor day-long food & music festival that celebrates what Lakewood is known for: tremendously Good Food. The event features Lakewood's eclectic mix of regionally known restaurants and food purveyors along with live music onstage, beer & wine available for purchase, dining tents, a VIP Experience, and more. A portion of the event's proceeds funds the Chamber's annual scholarship program that rewards and assists college-bound high school seniors from St. Edward and Lakewood High Schools. The 2016 Taste of Lakewood attracted thousands of people from the region who know of Lakewood's reputation as a great food destination. Lakewood's best restaurants, eateries and caterers such as Deagan's Kitchen + Bar, Melt Bar and Grilled, Aladdin's Eatery, Angelo's Pizza, El Carnicero and more were on hand to sell their food to guests who were picnicking on the park grounds, dining al fresco, and enjoying great music at Madison Park in the historic Birdtown Neighborhood of Lakewood. "We are thrilled to host the Taste of Lakewood at Madison Park" says Patty Ryan, CEO/President of the Chamber. "Our goal is to promote our restaurants while creating a signature event for the neighborhood."
