| Description: | The Miami Valley Sports Festival brings together multiple sports and people to celebrate Sport, Fitness, Health and Wellness in the Miami Valley. The Sports represented include Taekwondo, Karate, Fencing, Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinsons, Wrestling, Soccer, Boxing, Power Lifting, Judo, PowerX, Jiu Jitsu, Baseball and much more. Tournaments, meets, demonstrations, clinics, and camps occur both inside the 30,000 square feet venue and outside the 44-acre Sports Complex. The MVSF is conveniently located near downtown Dayton at State Route 4 and Stanley Avenue just off the highway. This event will draw from Middletown to Piqua, Ohio. There will be several hundred athletes participating in events and their families along with visitors to the festival from throughout the community. This year's festival will include Health, Wellness, and Fitness seminars and presentations. Our guests range from families with young children, middle and high school athletes, to seasoned competitive lifters for our strength events. Some of our Seminars will be presented by medical professionals on use of Boxing as a treatment for Parkinson's disease and ACL Injury Prevention and new Concussion Protocols in Sports and Sports Nutrition. Our festival has something for everyone from fun activities for kids, observing Sports tournaments and meets, Martial Arts Demonstrations for Judo, Jiu Jitsu, and a Wrestling clinic. PowerX will conduct a Double Deadlift meet that is a Qualifier for the Arnold Classic. There are 20 Vendors Spaces located inside the facility and outside vendors. There will be fitness and sports equipment, apparel, supplements, health and wellness booths, and much more. | ||
