| Description: | From 58th Annual Columbus Arts Festival Website: COLUMBUS, Ohio The nationally acclaimed Columbus Arts Festival, presented by American Electric Power, is now accepting online visual artist applications. The 58th annual festival will take place June 7-9, 2019 along the Columbus downtown riverfront.
Applications for exhibiting visual artists are accepted in 15 categories: 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing & Pastels, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Painting, Photography & Digital Photography, Printmaking & Graphics, Sculpture and Wood.
Local artists also are encouraged to apply to the Festival's Emerging Artist program, designed specifically for artists with extremely limited or no experience in exhibiting and selling their artwork at national arts festivals. This program is open to emerging artists in Franklin and surrounding counties: Union, Delaware, Licking, Fairfield, Pickaway, Fayette and Madison.
The deadline for visual artist applications is Dec. 14, 2018.
Each year more than 1,000 artists apply for approximately 300 booth spaces. Artists are chosen by a panel of experts in a blind jury process; the jurors for the 2019 Festival are:

Chris Casella, photographer
Celeste Malvar-Stewart, fashion and textile designer
Greer Pagano, Chief Curator for the Pizzuti Collection
Kendra Roberts, jewelry artist
