| Description: | From 13th annual Simon Kenton Chili Festival Website: The festival features live entertainment, contests and childrens activities, including face painting, a bouncy house and assorted games.
The contests include $1,000 for the best chili, a jalapeno eating contest, Suck, Chew and Blow contest, best salsa recipe contest and a corn hole tournament. Attendees can vote for their favorite chili by purchasing $1 beads and dropping in the pot of their choice. The winner will receive a Peoples Choice Chili trophy.
The Hoopla parade will begin at noon, featuring the Dayton Antioch Shriners and their miniature vehicles. Other activities include sampling contestants chili and a dunk tank. The Indoorfins will be playing at 6 p.m.
