Joy, wonder, admiration, fascination, courage. These are just a few words we think of when the hot air balloons fill the wondrous skies of Coshocton County every June. Over 25 balloons launch each year for three days during the summer. We are proud in Coshocton to have one of Ohio's oldest Hot Air Balloon Festivals. Seeing the smiling faces of children and adults alike as a balloon takes off is worth bringing this free and family friendly festival back time and time again. Balloon launch is hugely dependent on weather conditions, and the safety of our brave balloon pilots and citizens always come first. The balloon festival is a three day event for this very reason! It gives us the opportunity to launch as many times as the weather allows! During the three days there is also live music, games, food and prize vendors, untethered balloon rides, and much more.
